Tender meat, creamy mash, both bursting with flavor
Having not had much brisket in my life, I can't say that I have a great frame of reference for how it's supposed to be, but regardless, this was some of the tenderest, most flavorful fall-apart-in-your-mouth meat that I've had in quite a while, and my mouth is watering just thinking about having it again. (One thing I DO know about my friends who pride themselves on their brisket-making abilities is how time-intensive it is to make... and time is something I do not have!) Also, the roasted garlic cauliflower mash that comes with this is so amazing I could eat an entire tray of it by itself. I wasn't expecting much, to be honest, figuring that by now I pretty much knew the basic flavor and texture of a standard cauli mash... but nope, POTG proved me wrong... the mash is sooooo creamy, sooooo velvety, and feels mega indulgent! I could have been fooled into thinking they were genuine white potatoes loaded with milk, butter and maybe a touch of cheese (just how I used to like them). Just placed another order because it's probably the most satisfying "wow factor" meal I've tried on this website so far.
