Helped with Surgery Recovery
My husband just had surgery, and I've been busy with the caregiver role. I've also been exhausted from the stress and decided to have POTG help with the cooking. It's been such a gift! I ordered 2 of these packs, and they were perfect. Bone broth for gut-healing. Organ meat in the Shepherds Pie for nutrient density. A wide variety of meals and sides, including some of his favorites. All of it flavor-packed and delicious; the very opposite of bland. It made this week much better for us both. For Lavina, I really recommend a microwave for these meals, especially on vacation. There's no need to wash a pan, and microwaves have fast defrost as well as heating options. While some people fear microwaves, both Sarah Ballantyne and Chris Kresser looked into the science and pronounced microwaves safe. And they keep vacations much more relaxing!

disappointing
I ordered two packets of this as I was traveling and needing easy to heat healthy dinners while living in a hotel. Only a few items such as the broths and soup worked well and tasted fine. The rest were not and I had to throw out some of the chicken, pork and cabbage, and zucchini noodles as they took very long to cook and too many pots and pans to make it difficult in a limited kitchen. They were also quite bland and felt like 'hospital food' which is not how I remember some of the items I had tried before in POTG. Hence, it did not meet my needs of easy to cook healthy food for auto-immune protocol needs. The company did refund part of my payment but at the high price I paid I could have got fresh, organic meals at some of the cafes/markets near where I was staying. I hope they improve the taste and ease of heating/cooking to make it truly helpful to those with restricted diets who need to depend on such companies to be able to travel withe ease.
