Very filling, but...
This was very filling, and it was mostly BEEF inside. There were very few carrot pieces in the one that I cooked last night. Note also that the cooking directions on the pkg state 350-degree oven, and the website says 450-degree oven. I followed the pkg and it took forever to 'cook' on 350, even on convection setting. There were a few spots of gooey/slimey crust within the 'pie', which is different than the non-paleo meat pies that I buy at Whole Foods. Overall, it was filling, though, and one pie is good for two meals. I added my own veggies as a side dish, since this is mostly beef.

Not as good as chicken
For me, the biggest problem is the big mushrooms. Even though it's aip approved, I'm pretty sensitive to mushrooms, and wish that this came without.

My husband and I both ate one, and we both gave it a 10 out of 10! That comes from both of us who are somewhat skeptical of frozen food, ordered over the internet, but it came with such great reviews and press, that we had to try. We took it on vacation with us, and it was so appreciated on one of the colder, damper evenings when grilling out wasn't possible. The pot pies burst with incredible savory flavor, and the crust was incredible and all that you desire in a crust. Best part, we knew it was made from quality ingredients. The chuck roast meat was super moist and melted in your mouth. We'd definitely order it again.

The crust is so delicious!! The ingredients are also very tasty. I need to eliminate grains and sugars from my diet, and these pot pies are wonderful menu choices.

Addicting
These are the best pot pies out of all of them! They are so addicting, too! I brought them with me while traveling and used the Hot Logic mini to cook them. Even though the Hot Logic doesn't get them as crispy as the oven, they were still delicious! Crave them now. ALL. THE. TIME.

Hit the spot
This pot pie hit the spot. The flavor was great and the crust was crispy and good. The pie is filled with meat, not a little, but stuffed. The meat wasn't overcooked and was moist and delicious. I really enjoyed the pot pie. It hit the spot. I cooked it on the 450 setting and it took about an hour to cook, but completely worth the wait. Seriously, one of my favorite.
